Would love to gain weight this year!! Any tips that tried and tested definitely work?
Hey folks, ok heres the dealio- I am a 25yr old female, about 5 10/11 " and about 8 and abit stone. I have always been tall and skinny, it is inherited from my grandad. But I have grown up knowing I am different and it is something that continually gets me down, I hate my body and find it hard to find clothes that I truely feel confident in. I spoke to my doc and he said what everyone always say " Most women would love to have your figure you should be happy in your shape blah blah blah" . But I would just so love to gain abit of weight, maybe a stone, and just fill out abit, so I can actually like my figure, and be able to wear clothes that at the moment just wouldnt suit me.
If anyone out there has gained weight by eating/drinking something every night/day for however long please let me know. I have quite a small appetite so find it hard to just eat more. But I will try anything if I know it will give me results,
cheers everyone x anna

Eating the correct food is important for your health. You can try supplementing your diet with acai berry, it is not only a widely tested and acknowledged weight loss compound, it is a superfood too. There’s a risk free trial offered at http://zilant.freelightpro.info I have been taking it for three weeks now and it’s definitely having an effect!!

Hey, i am currently in a similar position and am trying to gain weight.
I would not recommend eating unhealthy fatty foods as they have no nutritional value to your body and as soon as you stop the weight will just come off again.
I would recommend snacking on nuts or drinking calorie shakes between meals to up your calories, this is what im currently doing and its helping, my energy levels have also increased and my pulse and blood pressure has never been better! good luck!
Helpful Stranger. | Feb 08, 2010
you could try adding high fat products to your meals like if your making a sauce with spaghetti, make it with fresh cream instead of milk or water. Add also cream to your soup and anything else you can think of. If you drink tea or coffee and use already sugar and milk, use more sugar and use cream instead of milk (I know it’s disgusting) Eat fatty food like sausage rolls and fryed food. Eat fatty meat (pork mince instead of beef – it’s got usually more fat) Drink sweet drinks instead of water (orange juice etc is better than, sweeter than fanta and coke) Don’t use all those light products (light margarine is half the fat and that’s exactly what you need – the fat) Think rich food – the richer the better. Have a look in your fridge and see how many low fat products you have in there and change them all for full fat.
Lots of luck – I hope this helps and of course do everything in moderation -your body usually tells you if you’re going overboard.
And by the way don’t worry about all the threatening adverts that tell you that you’ll have a heart attack – they just want to sell their products…..

What do you make of this?
In 2007 I was on vacation with my family in Spain. Me and my brother (I was 18 then and my brother was 15) we were out on the town during the daytime and my brother saw this really nice jewerly in the local shop and he kept saying to me that he was going to steal them for himself. We walked to the shop (my brother wanted me to cover for him) and he cut the string attached to the jewelry. He ran away but I just froze and stayed at the shop and when the owner came over to me I shrugged my shoulder pretending I had not part of it.
The shop owner was upset and told me to go inside. Inside the shop I tried to protest my innocence and she threatend to ring the police, I then made an deal with her that I would find my brother and get the jewerly back of him. I found my brother and he gave the jewerly back to me and i returned to the shop and she did not take it any further and let me free. We told our mum what happened but my dad does still not know becasue he would loose his temper.
Who do you think was in the wrong in this situation? (This incident happened on my parents wedding aniverserry.
What I think is wrong is you chickened out on your bro.
Why are you asking this question now if it happened in 07?
Mrs. Sweeney | Feb 05, 2010
Your brother was obviously wrong. Don’t put anymore thought into this, it’s done with and no one was hurt.
Ms. Monster | Feb 05, 2010
Both of you.
You shouldn’t have allowed it to happen, especially in a foreign country (laws are different- if you were in the wrong country you may have been penalized severely). Your brother is an idiot, too. What kind of boy wears jewelery?

The idea to steal
You didn’t stop you brother, you ca say, don’t do this, because I will tell all to our father.
When you see something wrong, must react.
But your behavior in all this was very good, you did it,and saved your brother.
And important is only the lesson, what happen in our life, good or wrong,is the best teacher.
If you learn something good from this, all is ok.
kalosini | Feb 05, 2010
You both were wrong to even think to do this. What part of stealing is wrong do you do not understand? I’m shocked that the owner even agreed to let you go, but obviously she saw some honesty in you.You were right to get the jewelry back, but for the wrong reason. You should have gotten it back because you knew stealing was wrong, and not because you can avoid the police. Do you realized that you and your brother could have put a very dark spot on your parent’s anniversary vacation? The fact that three years have passed since the incident tells me that deep down, you knew the whole thing is wrong. I hope both of you have chalk it up to being dumb teenagers and haven’t done anything like that again.

Green Bay Packers switch to 3-4. Wise?
After all the Favre hype was over, and it came right down to it, this year’s team had a lot of opportunities to succeed. They failed. I put most of the blame on the defence and the lack of an effective blitz. Will Dom Capers and the 3-4 bring new life to a potentially "super" team?
in the last 8-9 years, Green Bay’s defense has been downright awful. the 05′ and 07′ defense’s are the only exception. last year, the defense made some great plays. it had an amazing secondary, but injuries plagued the team, thus reducing the pass rush, leading to late game collapses on a consistent basis. under Bob Sanders, that defense would have never been better then "alright." Sanders ran basically the same play on defense 75% of the time, unless injuries occured, then he tried to blitz. if you don’t change your coverage, the opposing team will know how beat you. looking at the Packers recent history on their defense, it was a very wise decision to switch to a 3-4. the only question marks i have on this defense is having a true NT. lets face it, none of our DT’s are good. if they are good enough to be a NT, they would have dominated as a DT in the standard 4-3 set. instead, they couldn’t even get a push on the linemen. the other question i have is will Nick Barnett have a good transition to MLB. he had a very bad year last season before getting injured. will he be able to adapt the new system? unfortunately, i don’t see Barnett making a smooth transition and we need to draft a NT….desperately! on a bright note, our other LB’s will do just fine in this system considering the depth GB has. RE Cullen Jenkins is the perfect DE for the 3-4, so i’m excited for that. some ups and some downs to the change. so, in the short run, no it’s not wise as there will be growing pains, but in the long run, yes, it is very wise. especially considering nobody else has a 3-4 defense in the NFC North.
The Claymaker- Go Pack! | Feb 23, 2009
the 3-4 is status quo for pro teams.
I disagree that an effective blitz makes for a better team:
You lose pass coverage to gain an attack to the line and it forces wider seams in the secondary.
The 3-4 compensates for the speed and power up front and gives the linebackers more time to react.
I think it’s a wise move.
Warrior | Feb 23, 2009
Green Bay’s offense was fairly awful last year, especially considering how good they look on paper. Everyone loves to gush about their secondary, but I think it’s incredibly overrated.
I think that the defense in its new scheme will be an improvement over last year, but not to the degree that Packers fans would like. Good 3-4 teams all have one thing in common: a great nose tackle. I don’t think the Packers have anyone remotely like that on the roster. Also, a 3-4 tends to put more pressure on the cornerbacks. I’m probably alone here, but I don’t think the Packers’ corners are good enough to deal with any additional workload.
I do think the defense will be a mild improvement over last year. I expect the LB corps to be among the best in the NFL. However, I don’t think this defense deserves Super Bowl hype until they get some more of the right personnel.

I really don’t think much can help the Packers! I lived in Green Bay for TEN years and personally think they S-U-C-K!

THANK YOU!! This whole year I put the blame on the Defense. I hope everyone else does too and they do not blame AR cause he showed up this year. The defense however, did not.
Version 2.0 | Feb 23, 2009
The only thing I can say is we will see.Are the players going to easily adapt to the 3-4.I think that is the most important.Last years defense was horrible for them.I think they lost 5 games in the last minutes of a game.Do they have the blitz type players? They also need help in the secondary.Woodson & Harris were both great in their time.Yet age is creeping up on both.
terry v | Feb 23, 2009
It depends. If they can get more talent at the Linebacker position, the 3-4 move will work. I’m of the opinion that neither 4-3 nor 3-4 are inherently better. A team like the Steelers who regularly draft high linebackers succeed at the 3-4 just because most of their talent is at the Linebacker position.
Tahuti Reincarnate | Feb 23, 2009
Such is the way of the NFL today…. It’s a copycat league, and the best defenses in the NFL for the past decade or so have been 3-4’s. Nowadays, most defenses play at least some form of a hybrid.
The thing is that you need to make a scheme that optimizes the use of your players. Take a look at Green Bay’s defense…. if you take a look at their D-line, something should jump out at you – they have like 6 DT’s on their roster right now. In 3-4’s typically you need bigger linemen who can tie up as much of the O’Line as possible to create lanes for the LB. My assumption is that they think they have 2 or 3 guys who would make good nose tackles, and the rest will bounce out to be larger DE’s. Who are those good nose tackles? Beats me, but they must think they have them because they wouldn’t risk a move to 3-4 with out them. I would assume Pickett, Jolly, and Cole stay inside (theyre all very big , but I don’t know that any of them are really NT…. they’re more of disruptive DT’s than guys who clog the middle), and the rest become the bigger DE’s. I think Harrell will eventually be a good 3-4 DE.
From what I understand, they also will move Kampman from DE to OLB. I don’t know enough about Green Bays defense to say if this is a good idea or not, but I don’t think it’s a good idea to take your best player and move him, unless you’re sure he’ll be productive. Kampman is one of the best DE’s in the game – he plays the run, and he rushes the passer. I’m not concerned about him rushing from the OLB position, but can he cover and attack the run from an upright position? The coaches seem to think he can. I have my doubts, especially since other than Hawk and Barnett, the LB’s from Green bay are somewhat questionable. Poppinga is okay, but Chillar is a liability. Maybe he’ll be better in a 3-4. I am not convinced though. I’m assuming one or two other DE’s will move to OLB as well for experimentation and added depth, and Hawk will move inside with Barnett.
I have many doubts about this switch – I think a hybrid D would be much more effective for their personell, but perhaps they have a few free agents or draft prospects targetted to help them make the transition. However, I also have not studied tape of Green Bays D or even watched that many of their games this season, nor do I get to watch them daily in practice, so there’s a good chance I’m underestimating them, especially many of the backups that I don’t know much about.
I think they’ll take a couple years to transition to a better defense using the 3-4, but in the end it will be the best for them -they’re a young team, and should be very competitive a few years down the road. Having a great defense would obviously help them out tremendously.
Jim Baw | Feb 23, 2009
No they shouldn’t because if they want to get sacks then they need to have a 4-3 defense. Plus 3-4 defenses suck!
Jerry | Feb 23, 2009
YEs, the defense did underachieve last year and kept them from having a winning season. I put some stock in that on injuries. Jenkins was having a pro bowl year before he tore his pec. Barnett is the heart of the D and his loss killed them. I agree though, they didn’t generate any pass rush at all. They have a solid secondary but the QB had all day to find a receiver. The pass rush died out at towards the end of the season before when they made the NFC championship. So a change was needed. They’ll probably have a few growing pains in switching, but I think Capers is the guy to wake up this defense. They have a lot of talented linebackers so I felt last season getting them on the field was a good move. So yes, I think it will bring some life to the D, and hopefully they’ll transition smoothly.

The leaders of The Roman Catholic Church traditionally couch even the harshest disagreements in decorous, ecclesiastical language. But it didn’t take a decoder ring to figure out what Rome-based Archbishop Raymond Burke meant in a late-September address when he charged Boston Cardinal Sean O’Malley with being under the influence of Satan, "the father of lies."
Burke’s broadside at O’Malley was inspired by the Cardinal’s decision to permit and preside over a funeral Mass for the late Senator Ted Kennedy. And it has set the Catholic world abuzz. Even more than protests over the University of Notre Dame’s decision to invite President Barack Obama to speak, disputes over the Kennedy funeral have brought into the open an argument that has been roiling within American Catholicism. The debate nominally centers on the question of how to deal with politicians who support abortion rights. Burke and others who believe a Catholic’s position on abortion trumps all other teachings have faced off against those who take a more holistic view of the faith. But at the core, the divide is over who decides what it means to be Catholic.
A Bull in a China Shop
It strikes no one as surprising that the 61-year-old Burke is at the center of the current fight. The former Archbishop of St. Louis made national headlines in 2004 when he became the first Catholic leader to say he would deny the Eucharist to Democratic presidential candidate John Kerry. He led an unsuccessful drive to bar Communion for politicians who support abortion rights. And as Election Day approached in 2004, Burke issued a warning to Catholics in the key swing state of Missouri that they should not present themselves for Communion if they voted for pro-choice candidates.
The Archbishop’s outspoken comments did not go unnoticed in Rome. In June 2008, Burke was unexpectedly transferred to the Vatican. The move was widely interpreted as a way to put some distance between Burke and the political contest in the States. "It was not unrelated to issues of political timing," observes Mark Silk, a professor of religion at Trinity College.
Burke’s new assignment came with an impressive title: Prefect of the Supreme Tribunal of the Apostolic Signatura–essentially chief justice of the Vatican’s highest court. But the job, which involves hearing appeals of lower-canon-court rulings on issues like annulment requests, did not stop him from commenting on American politics. In January he charged that the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops was responsible for Obama’s victory because it overwhelmingly approved a document suggesting that Catholics could consider issues besides abortion when deciding how to vote. The conference’s in-house news service, he added, failed to highlight Obama’s moral failings in its campaign coverage. And he called Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius, a pro-choice Catholic, a "source of deepest embarrassment to Catholics."
Burke’s confrontational approach doesn’t always mesh with the more discreet diplomacy favored by his Italian colleagues. "He’s seen as a bull in a china shop," says an American priest and longtime Rome resident. "I’ve seen Italian bishops roll their eyes."
In retrospect, it should have been obvious that the funeral plans for Kennedy would reignite a lingering dispute within the church. The question of whether the Senator should even be described as a Catholic because of his support for abortion rights and his checkered life history was hotly debated on Catholic blogs and religion websites like Beliefnet.com. Right-wing Catholics lobbied the Boston archdiocese to refuse the Kennedy family a church funeral. Robert Royal of the Faith & Reason Institute called O’Malley’s decision to go ahead with the Mass a "grave scandal" on a par with the sexual-abuse crisis.
But it’s one thing for partisans and bloggers to disparage a Mass for a dead Senator; it’s quite another for a Vatican official to do so. Even some leading conservative Catholics may find they cannot support Burke’s latest salvo. When told of the Archbishop’s assertion that pro-choice Catholics should not be permitted funeral rites, Princeton professor Robert George was taken aback: "That’s a very different, and obviously graver, claim than that with which I would have sympathy. I haven’t heard before any bishop say that pro-abortion politicians should not be given a Catholic funeral."
CardinalSeansBlog.org
Friends of O’Malley’s say The Cardinal was stunned by the criticism. The 65-year-old O’Malley is temperamentally Burke’s opposite, a shy man who dislikes celebrity and shuns politics–a major reason he was appointed to the sensitive post in Boston. With his full beard and preference for wearing the brown robe of a Capuchin friar, the man who goes by "Cardinal Sean" is not easily identified as a Prince of the Church. When O’Malley received his red hat in 2006, he persuaded some friends to go
I am not a big fan of Bishop Burke for his handling of the Polish parish of St. Stanislaus when he was the Bishop of St. Louis. On the abortion issue and the handling of the fallen away Catholics that support aborttion he was exactly correct. O’Malley was wrong. You cannot be a Catholic and favor and support the murder of the most innocent and helpless of humanity. It is good that they have the voice of the Archbishop to speak for them even if evil people do not want to hear. God bless!

How can I ask the school office for my friends house number?
Ok she is like my BF and no one I know talks to her like that so they do not have her number. Ok she got into trouble to much and is at the bad school for some months. Last time I saw her was friday and it happen yesterday. And I never got to see her. I been to her house once and didn’t pay attention to how to get there. I miss her terribly and can’t go months without talking or seeing her. She doesnt have internet so I can Facebook her.
So my only hope is to ask if the office will give it to me but I do not think they will. I have her dads number but every time I call he is not with her or at work. I called atleast 5 times since she gave it too me in early Jan. I guess her house phone was off. Well she lost my number and I have no way to talk to her. I do not want to seem pushy or stalkerish calling her dad again because I am tired of him not tell her I called even when I tell him my name. He knows me but not that well because he only saw me like twice. So what can I do to get her number.
Also theres a chance she may have cancer or a tumor in her head and I want to be there if she does

hoping this isn't wishful thinking, did or will this cold affect my chances?
okay so 11dpo and i just had this thought. i have/had a cold (going away) and i know that gets in the way of expecting your period on a certain day or time frame. im still stuck on weather i should test or not. what should i do? wat are the chances if im not pregnant my period will take a turn because of this cold.
my usual af symptoms haven’t showed im experiencing cramps but that also comes with sore boobs i feel on them but nothing just sometimes a tingly feeling. are my chances of being pregnant still high?
