B3AST | Jan 31, 2010

Old Yeller, Bambi are just 2 that had a sad ending or story.
JOHN | Jan 31, 2010

Disney used a lot of Grimm fairy tales which where rather gruesome, and, well you cant really show that to kids nowadays, so yeah, he turned them all happy! i do remember something about Cinderella’s stepsister cutting off her toes to fit the Glass slipper and it was fulled with blood. If you want to know the Original stories i would suggest reading the Grimm’s Fairy Tales by Wilhelm and Jacob Grimm.

Just wanted to add that not only was Little Red Riding hood eaten by the wolf, the wolf fed her a soup that was actually her grandma chopped up in pieces in a pot full of blood in earlier versions of the story.

No, no they didn’t.

Most of the Grimm Fairy tales can be found at http://www.familymanagement.com/literacy /grimms/grimms-toc.html

Give them a read.

What could be wrong with my arm?
I was in a minor skiing accident about a month ago where I hurt my right elbow. It still gets stiff if I don’t move it for long periods of time, and while before the injury, I could extend my arm past 180 degrees, now, I can can only extend it around 175 degrees. Finally, if I bend my arm to an angle less than 90 degrees, the pinkie, ring finger, and corresponding half of my hand fall asleep within just a few minutes.

What could I have done to my arm that would cause this, and should I see a doctor about it?

There could have been an impingement of your ulnar nerve since you hurt your elbow in a minor skiing accident. The ulnar nerve traverses your elbow (that’s the nerve you hit when you get the "funny elbow"). I suggest that you go see a doctor about this so that the appropriate assessment and imaging could be done to see the extent of the injury. Hope this one helps.

Have you been jacking it latley? That may be the problem.

Beyond the Sea
Beyond the Sea (2004)

IMDB rating: 6.70

Plot: Consummate entertainer Bobby Darin (1936-1973) is making a movie about his life. He’s volatile, driven by the love of performing, ambition, perfectionism, and belief that he’s living on borrowed time. He begins in the Bronx: a fatherless lad learning music and dance from his mom. His career starts slowly, then “Splish Splash” puts him at the top of the charts and on “Bandstand.” He wants to be an entertainer, not a pop star, so he aims for the Copacabana; then it’s on to the movies, where he meets and marries Sandra Dee. After, it’s balancing career, health, marriage and family life, balances he doesn’t always keep. Throughout, conversations with his boyhood self give him perspective.

What is beyond the Sea of Death?

There is nothing beyond the "Sea of Death". Oblivion. Non-existence. Am I making myself clear?

Maurog III | Jan 27, 2010

I once had a vision where I was previously doing some deep meditation and went to sleep with the question ‘what is life and death all about? The answer I had in a dream was pretty incredible, and so vivid I can remember it in detail today even though it was over 7 years ago.
I was taken to a place of darkness, and I mean total darkness, like being down a deep cave with no lights at all, it was very weird, but before I could think about it I was snapped up by a kind of spirit guide and taken to another place (this was only a dream don’t forget). I was told that if I stayed in darkness too long I would be lost forever. The place I was taken to was very unusual. It was like a villiage in darkness, but with tents instead of houses and the only lighting was camp fires outside of each tent. As I walked along side these tents with my spirit guide (as I call it) I was told of the many secrets of the universe. Also as we walked I noticed people of all walks of life exiting these tents, looking very upset and anxious and worried about stuff. They approached the campfires in deep thought every time. When I tried to make conversation they quickly excused themselves and retreated back into their tent they came from, never to be seen again. This happened for a long time as I walked along not understanding why these people were so distracted and seemed to have a lot on their mind. When I awoke I couldn’t remember what the great things the guide told me, and maybe we are meant to forget, but I figured out one meaning of all this. The campfires were knowledge, in the world of darkness, without the darkness we would not see the light. Every now and then we have to visit this place of darkness, so we can gain knowledge of the universe and answers to our deepest questions. Some people call this hell, but I think that this is a place we all visit when we are in our deepest thoughts and not necessarily when we are dead. Sometimes we have to look within ourselves for answers and the light within, but it may only be found in the sea of darkness. And I think this is what I was being told. When I say hell, I do not say it in the Religious context, as I don’t belive in hell in this manner. I just think that I was being shown that hell is only the darkest moments that we all have to face within ourselves, and that heaven can only be reached when we confront this darkness and gain knowledge of the universe from the fires of knowledge lit within our souls. When we pass on we will once again be re-united with the universal knowledge and will have no need for the darkness. We will only be one with the light, or heaven, as some call it.
Pretty deep huh?
Well I am not a nutter, just a normal family person who had a wonderful, inspiring dream one day that I am pleased to share with anyone who cares lol.
Enjoy life and be happy!
