Why do you hate God, atheists?
If you’re going to answer with "HURR I DONT HATE GOD CUZ HE DOESNT EXIST" just don’t bother, you will be reported for not answering the question within the given parameters. Anyway, you’d be lying, because as Romans 1:20 attests, EVERYONE knows and believes in God, they just choose not to accept Jesus because they love themselves more than Him and don’t want to be held accountable (even Satan believes in God, see James 2:19) Again, please do not answer this question if you do not intend to be serious, or if you are going to ridicule me and my Faith. Your answer will be deleted and you will be banned.
G-Man:Why don’t you go back to City 17 and butt out of serious conversation you have nothing to contribute to
They don’t hate God, they don’t believe in God. They don’t like some Christians.
A believer | Feb 03, 2010
God understands the problem of character and realizes that not only are sinners unfit morally for Heaven, but they would choose to leave Heaven because of their discomfort with incompatible ends. If God were to welcome the wicked into heaven and make some allowances so that they would choose to stay, they would jeopardize the stability of Heaven.
The goals of these selfish citizens would be at continual odds with those of God and the righteous citizens, throwing Heaven into turmoil and ultimately inciting insurrection and destruction. Thus, God is obligated to confine those who have chosen self as their sole end to a place appropriate to their character.
Since sinners love darkness rather than light, God gives them over to darkness. Since they love themselves supremely, God gives them an eternity to satisfy themselves. Since they love wickedness, He gives them wicked companions. Since they reject righteousness, God gives them a place devoid of righteousness. Since they love to mock the blessings of God and His love, God gives them a place devoid of Him and His love.
You see, God even loves sinners and gives them what they want most – eternal torment in the Lake of Fire. He|| is the most loving thing God can do for the unrepentant sinner for
God is love.

Why do you hate Allah and Vishnu?
You are trying to deny that people sincerely do not believe in God. That is often a sign of being insecure in one’s faith.

I don’t hate a nonexistent anything. I hate that so many people expend so much energy to try to get me to believe in superstitions. You see, I live in the 21st century, and I actually like and respect science, not ancient goat herders and drunks.
Go ahead and report this. I beat one today that was unfounded; this will be, too. You’ll lose points (for a change).

Romans is wrong. It also makes a statement that cannot be verified, only accepted on blind faith.
The only Blind Faith I like is Clapton, Ginger Baker, Ric Grech, and Steve Windwood.

Why would I waste my time hating something that does not exist?
The problem is the blind followers of religion that try to impose their belief system on the rest of society.
It is exactly like a social club opening on the next block from where you live and demanding that everybody in the neighborhood be subject to their club rules.

Long Live Neda Agha-Soltan! | Feb 03, 2010
What the hell reporting someone for stating their opinion that god doesn’t exist. Not all Atheist are banging their fist screaming smite me god. Everyone believes in god? What kind of narrow minded thinking is that? They may believe in A god. Don’t refer to the bible to reference and justify everything.
If you don’t like my opinion, then to damn bad. Report it.
Naivete, Ignorans. | Feb 03, 2010
How can you hate something if you don’t think it exist! I don’t hate God because what’s the point of hating, none, there is no God. That’s like common sense. I don’t believe, I don’t hate.
Roxanne | Feb 03, 2010
Wow, I thought I didn’t believe in your god, but if Romans 1:20 says I do, who am I to argue? But what part of the Bible says that I hate god? I could see loving myself more than your god (especially since I’ve known myself for decades, whereas I just now found out I believe in your god) but that’s far from the same thing as hating someone.
Edit: Amen, Integral, lol.

I don’t believe in God or Jesus at all.
It’s been attempted to be forced into my brain for 10 whole years in school.
I just don’t believe in it.
There are different religions too so you can’t say that "everyone believes in God" because some people truly don’t. And some people, like me, just don’t believe in everything. I don’t need religious activities, or religious beliefs to live my life. Sure, you can say I might not go to heaven, but honestly, who knows if there is a heaven? You can believe it, I can’t if I want to, but we have different beliefs.
And I’m not trying to ridicule your faith, but SOME (just some) people that are Christians and Catholics hate gays and lesbians with a passion. I just don’t understand that because in the bible it says to love everyone equally and that God loves everyone. So, I don’t understand how these people can say that God is against gays and lesbians and that being that way is wrong, when really they are just being judgemental.
Oh, and I also don’t like how SOME (just some!) people try to force this religion up upon you. If I really wanted to believe, I would. Don’t force it on me, please.
Phew. There’s my rant.
Jell-o | Feb 03, 2010
Fortunately, I never use the words ‘hurr’ or ‘cuz’, and I know that ‘don’t’ and ‘doesn’t’ have apostrophes in them, so I can avoid being reported.
To answer your question, I do not "hate God"; I simply do not believe the God described in the Bible exists. I do not believe the God described in the Bible exists because the bulk of the historical evidence we have uncovered indicates the events the Bible claims took place never actually happened.
Romans 1: 20 can say whatever it wants, but that doesn’t make it true. That a liar thinks to include a clause saying anyone who thinks they’re lying is out to get them doesn’t make their lies any more true. It just means they thought to tell that lie as well.
If you haven’t noticed (though I’m guessing from your avatar that politics isn’t your strong suit), just about the first thing any politician who’s been caught doing something wrong does is denounce everyone who says they’re being dishonest as "out to get them". If you don’t believe me, go back and take a look at what John Edwards spent the last two years or so accusing every press outlet of when they dared to report his illicit affair.
As for James 2: 19, it’s a guilt trip and a bully tactic. Con men frequently employ it to intimidate people into believing what they want by impeaching their character for disagreeing, and you seem to be using the verse just as intended, with the basic message being "well, even the Devil believes in God… you don’t WANT to be worse than the DEVIL, do you?"
This is about like holding up Jeffrey Claude Bartleson (a McCain campaign manager who was arrested for molesting a five year old boy during the campaign) as an example and saying "see, even CHILD MOLESTERS wouldn’t vote for Barack Obama. You don’t want to be worse than a CHILD MOLESTER, do you?"
Or, on the flip side, holding him up as an example and saying "see, CHILD MOLESTERS support McCain… you don’t want to be a CHILD MOLESTER, do you?"
It’s trying to find an extremely foul example of someone or something you know people find repulsive, connect it with something unrelated you happen to like, and guilt people into taking your position by implying that taking any other position somehow makes them at least as bad as whatever example you’re holding up. It’s a bully tactic.
In any case, of course the Devil would believe in God according to the Bible. He’s one of the main characters in a story about God. Trying to use that to claim the Bible is true is like trying to claim "Harry Potter is obviously real because even Voldemort believed in Harry Potter!"
Yeah, he would naturally believe that. It’s how his character was written.
AndiGravity | Feb 03, 2010
it really does not matter what the bible says, because it was not written by God, and no I do not hate God, nor do I love him, it is a non issue, however I like some of the stories in the Bible much like Grimm’s Faerie Tails, extreme and meant to teach a lesson, why assume Atheists hate God, we simply dislike some, not all of his followers, I think you are being a bit nasty to ask a question of us and threaten to ban us for not answering the way you like, are you going to hold your breath too?
ponitail 55 | Feb 03, 2010
Im not an Atheist a Christian or a Satanist. It is arrogant Christians that think that there fecal matter smells good and wave it in the air flaunting it around for all to abhor that truly makes me ill. By the way, Atheists think your God and Satin are a fairy tale and really don’t believe in the devil or care if the story says he believes in God. So if you choose to believe in Santa and the Easter bunny along with the Tooth ferry that’s ok with me. So the question is why are you in pursuit of a fight? Should you not be turning the other cheek or something?
G-Man | Feb 03, 2010
I don’t believe God exists. Therefore I cannot hate him. And don’t you dare accuse athiests of ‘loving themselves’ more than anyone because I’m sure there are many Athiests who are more compassionate and empathetic than you.
Bobert! | Feb 03, 2010
Your post demonstrates exactly that it is not about belief, God or Jesus but about the intolerance, hatred and persecution from those terribly BAD christian attitudes and conduct!!
As soon as you BAD Christians rediscover the loving god and start acting like it the problem will cease!!!!
Of course until then christianity will increasingly get called the "Nasty Religion"!!
GOOD christians are indignant that such postings as yours make all christians look so bad and intolerant – they will all be praying for your soul!!!

i say modern warfare 2. The story mode is amazing. one of the best yet.. the veteran mode is challanging, but awsume when u beat it, like i did. It also has a special opps mode, which is like a campaine mode, but different twists. its all about getting starts by playing on higher diffficulties. and the online mode is amazing! it is so much funn and you can play it forever.
So if u are a war game fan, and u want to stick to one game for a while, i say modern warfare 2. it has an amazing amount of replay value
JoEyY | Feb 06, 2010
If you like RPGs, then definitely Fallout 3.
Mystery Man | Feb 06, 2010
I would suggest MW2 or Fallout 3
MW2 is awesome, especially if you have online. Fallout 3 though offers a lot of gameplay for your buck as well as you can get even more from mods and there is high replay value.

The giant azz leaned down to the point where the giant azz’s brown star was right infront of my face. The giant azz’s brown star opened as if it were going to speak, but instead, feces and blood shot out onto my face. I woke up and I had shat myself in my sleep. Fantasia/2000 (1999)
IMDB rating: 7.20
Plot: In this update of Disney’s masterpiece film mixture of animation and music, new interpretations of great works of music are presented. It begins with an abstract battle of light and darkness set to the music of Beethoveen’s Fifth Symphony. Then we see the adventures of a Humpback Whale calf and his pod set to “The Pines of Rome.” Next is the humourous story of several lives in 1930’s New York City, scored with “Rhapsody in Blue.” Following is a musical telling of the fairy tale, “The Steadfast Tin Soldier” set to Dmitri Shostakovich’s Piano Concerto No. 2. Then a goofy Flamingo causes havoc in his flock with his yo-yo to the tune of the finale of “Carnival of the Animals.” This is followed by the classic sequence from the original film, “The Sorcerer’s Apprentice” starring Mickey Mouse and followed by “Pomp and Circumstance” starring Donald Duck as a harried assistant to Noah on his Ark. Finally, we see the awesome tale of the life, death and renewal of a forest in a sequence featuring the composition, “The Firebird.”

What does this sentence mean? Need help with my homework?
Yea so in english class we have to write a paragraph about this poem but i am having a hard time understanding this line. Its about blacks/prejustice..
The line is "I am invisible, understand, simply because people refuse to see me."
The whole poem is this
I am an invisible man. i am a man of substance, of flesh and bone, fiber and liquids and i might even be said to possess a mind. I am invisible, understand, simply because people refuse to see me. Like the bodiless heads you see sometimes in circus sideshows, it is as though i h ave been surrounded by mirrors of hard distorted glass. when they approach me they see only my surroundings themselves or figments of their imagination. indeed everything and anything except me.
So yea.. can someone tell me what the first line means? because i really dont understand that line =/
thank you. much appreciated.
THANK YOU GUYS.!
The poet is expressing the feeling that he does not exist, because nobody reacts to him. Though he is made of the same materials we are, he is ignored, and unseen. It does not matter whether he is visible or not, because nobody sees him, and by default, if you are not seen, you are invisible.
This relates to the race issue, because often during times of great prejudice, the controlling race believing themselves to be superior did not see it as important to give people of the oppressed race any regard, or to pay attention to them at all. They in essence, became invisible, to anyone except for themselves.
Hope that helps.

what the author i think means by the line is expressed primarily in the word understand,
the author means to say that he is not invisible in reality but only to those people who refuse to acknowledge him , and those people are ignorant ,, or so it seems by his tone

"I am invisible, understand, simply because people refuse to see me."
i think, considering the poem is about prejudice/blacks then maybe its refering to the fact that he is black, people over see him … and to others he is "invisible"
hope that helped
Crusade | Sep 21, 2008
well it is easy. he is saying that he is invisible because people judge him for is color or something else, and not for what he really is.
for example if u see a guy with sleeping in the street, u will judge him. u will say that he has no home, no work, that he is somebody bad. this is prejudice and stereotype. you don’t know him, may be he is nice, may be he has some problem that do not allows him to get a job….
to summarize, u judge him for his physical appearance and not for what he really is. that is why he says that he is invisible because nobody want to know who he really is. they jjust judge him because of his appearance.
hope it helps u.

Well the poem is talking about naruto. It means:
Naruto is a pretty cool guy. ehs does jutsu and and doesnt afraid of anything.
The Man | Sep 21, 2008
The lines are from Ralph Ellison’s wonderful novel, "Invisible Man," which I think everyone should read at least twice. What he is saying is that when most white people look at a black man, all they see is his color and their own pre-conceptions and stereotypical images about African-Americans ("figments of their imagination"). Thus they do not really see HIM, as the unique, thinking, feeling, real person he truly is. And they don’t really want to see him because they are more comfortable in their prejudices. Thus to those people, he is — for all intents and purposes — INVISIBLE.

You said "Good" so stay away from the Twilight films they`re for barely adolescent girls and gay young men who wouldn`t know a decent story if it bit them. They pretty much all want to be bitten by that Pattinson geek or they prefer Lautner.
Stick to 30 Days of Night ,Nightwatch ,Daywatch – clever films like those or unintentionally humourous such as Bram Stoker`s Dracula (I mean who else invented this particular Dracula ?).
You obviously have researched this to mention Near Dark – well done.

If you want originality as well as good acting then the best vampire film for many years has to be 30 Days of Night.

What are some good movies from the sundance film festival?
The year the film was made doesn’t matter. I enjoyed The Wackness, Brick, Wristcutters, Assassination of a High School President, and a Guide to Recognizing Our Saints. Thank you in advance.
Check out each page, then scroll down to the bottom of each page to find then next section. It’s a five page overview of some of the best sundance films of all time. It includes short video clips from the films as well as a short review of each film.
Good luck

 Training Day (2001)
IMDB rating: 7.40
Plot: In a city where streets are overrun by drug dealers, those who have sworn to uphold the law are breaking them to clean up the streets. Denzel Washington plays L.A.P.D detective Alonzo Harris, a veteran narcotics officer whose methods of enforcing the law are questionable, if not corrupt. ‘Training Day’ follows Harris as he trains rookie Jake Hoyt (Ethan Hawk) over a period 24 hours. Ethical dilemmas arise for Hoyt as well as the audience as questions present themselves as to whether or not Harris’ methodology for ridding the streets of South Central Los Angeles of drugs is right or wrong.

I need help calculating my needed calorie intake to lose weight?
I am 5 ft 1 and 147 lbs. I was 120 lbs pre-pregancy. I have a 10 month old and am pretty much exclusively breast feeding. I also just started training for a marathon and am running currently about 15 miles a week (but will be increasing rapidly to about 30-40 miles per week). I have tried calorie calculators but even if they say they take into account breastfeeding, they really don’t. They still tell me I need to eat 1200 or 1300 calories to lost weight, which doesn’t make any sense. I think I need at least 1500 calories per day but with breast feeding I should probably be able to have more and still lose the weight that I want to lose.
How many calories should I be eating per day to reach my weight loss goal but remain healthywhile breastfeeding?
to mantain (w/o bf) you multiply your wight by 16 and thats how much you’d need to mantain… every pound is appox 3500 cal…. so use your best judgment

I’m not sure of your age so I use 25yrs and came up with 1820 calories per day to get you to 120 lbs again. If you are older it will be less.
