What do you think about my writing?
Okay, so this is going to be a bit long, and I’m sorry about that, but if you don’t want to read it, that’s fine with me. If you do though, please tell me what you think and give me advice. This story is just a fan fiction, (of Sasuke from Naruto) but it is very closely formated to the Novel I am writing.

Plot: Ginger is one of the chicken at the Tweety Egg Farm, who is capable of escaping (and desperately wants to) but is constantly being held back by her incompetent partners. One night, feeling failed and depressed after a chicken is axed, she wanders out to the gate, where she sees a rooster triumphantly flying through the air. After crashing and injuring his wing, Ginger takes him in and learns he’s Rocky Rhodes, a cocky American who enjoys freedom – in fact, he escaped from a circus when she found him. In exchange for protecting him when the circus arrives asking for him, Ginger makes a deal with Rocky that he will teach them to fly so they can escape. Taking advantage of the situation, Rocky woos the chicken, irritating Ginger “Doll-Face” and organizer Officer Fowler, formerly of the Royal Air Force, in the process. Meanwhile, the Tweetys have purchased a machine to make chicken pies out of, intending to cook every last one of them.

My sister is coming to Australia to get married. Where in the south of the Gold Coast is a good outdoor venue?
She is coming over here just before Christmas this year. There will only be about 15 people. I live near Currumbin and Palm Beach. She would like to be adjacent to the beach, perhaps in a secluded park. Suggestions would be very much appreciated. Thank you!

Our son got married on Couran Cove …on the surfside . Great atmosphere & venue .

We actually all went for four days & enjoyed the place together ….

A friend of a friend was married at a quiet little beach spot on the Gold Coast but I can’t remember the name.
It didn’t cost anything because the Council don’t charge a fee when you apply for a beach wedding permit.
Maybe if you were to contact a couple of celebrants and ask they should have some idea because they would have officiated at weddings all over the coast.
Elizabeth | Feb 03, 2010

Pretty much anything down Currumbin, Palm Beach or Broadbeach would be nice. Sorry I do’n't know any specific parks (try looking in a refidex or talking to Gold Coast Council…)

Would she go for Byron? The lighthouse is popular for photographs…

Romeo Must Die
Romeo Must Die (2000)

IMDB rating: 5.70

Plot: In this modern day Romeo and Juliet, kung fu action star Jet Li plays Romeo to hip-hop singer, Aaliyah Haughton’s Juliet. Li is an ex-cop investigating the murder of his brother, who had ties with the Chinese mafia in America. Aaliyah plays the daughter of the American mob boss. Neither side approves of their romance, so, obviously, kung fu action ensues, with a soundtrack by Aaliyah.

Directors: Bartkowiak Andrzej

Actors: Li Jet,Washington Isaiah,Wong Russell,DMX,Lindo Delroy,Woodside D.B.,O Henry,Lee Jonkit,Ballerini Edoardo,Anderson Anthony,Harrison Matthew,Chen Terry,Lowe Derek,Wong Ronin,Action,Crime,Drama,Thriller,

How might the films Romeo Must Die and Cradle 2 the Grave improved if F. Gary Gray or Bruce Ratner directed?
Bruce Ratner layered the character of Lee and Carter together in some ways a lot smoother than Andrej Bartowiak did for DMX and Jet Li in Cradle 2 the Grave. I just think if Ratner had directed the two Jet Li films the interchange dialogue and the acting would have gone over smoother. I think Jet Li might have even been more expressive of himself onscreen particulalry with Aaliyah in Romeo Must Die. I think there might have also been love scenes between Li and Aaliyah had F. Gary Gray directed the flick. It would have had much greater ties to the play as far as the intensity of the romance and the drama going on.

Hard to say. Things can always get away from a director and he just finishes the film to be done with it

Would you attend a church with this doctrinal statement?
Doctrinal Statement

1. The Deity, virgin birth, and sinless humanity of Jesus Christ our Lord; His substitutionary death on the Cross as the atonement for man’s sins; His bodily resurrection from the tomb and His ascension into Heaven to sit at the right hand of the Father. (Isaiah 7:14; Luke 1:35; Matthew 1:23; Ephesians 1:7; Colossians 1:14; John 11:25; Acts 1:11) The Holy Trinity of Father, Son, and Holy Spirit; three persons in one essence in the unity of the Godhead. (Deuteronomy 6:4; Matthew 28:1-9; Luke 3:22)

2. That Christ Himself organized the Church during His personal ministry before the day of Pentecost. (Matthew 16:18; Luke 16:12; I Corinthians 12:28)

3. That the New Testament Church is a visible, local congregation of baptized believers acknowledging Christ as their Head, united in the belief of what He has said and covenanting to what He has commanded. (Galatians 1:2; Revelation 1:4)

4. The creation of man by the direct act of God and his subsequent fall due to disobedience. (Genesis 1:26-27; Genesis 2:7)

5. The Baptism and the Lord’s Supper are the only two ordinances of the church. That immersion only is the baptism and that only confessed believers should be baptized. (Matthew 3:16-17; Acts 8:36-38; Romans 6:1-6) Only baptized believers have the right to partake of the Lord’s Supper
(I Corinthians 10:16-21; I Corinthians 11:23-30). No one has the right to administer the church ordinances except an ordained church officer, and that by the authority of the local church. (Matthew 28:18-20)

6. That every born-again believer has the responsibility to be a personal soul-winner. (Psalms 126:5-6; Luke 14:23; II Timothy 1:9)

7. In the doctrine of the total depravity of man, that all men by nature are sinful and lost. It is impossible for him to recover himself from the fallen state by his good works, and for salvation, Holy Spirit regenerations are absolutely essential. (Psalms 51:5; Psalms 58:3; Romans 3:10, 23; Romans 6:23; Ephesians 1:13; Ephesians 2:8-9)

8. Every local New Testament Baptist Church must be involved in missions to be scriptural. (Acts 1:8; Acts 13:1-4; II Corinthians 8 & 9; Matthew 28:19-20; Mark 16:15; Ezekiel 13:17)

9. The power of Christ to save men eternally from the penalty of sin through faith in His shed blood, and the gift of eternal life by grace through repentance. (John 3:3; Acts 10:21)

10. Every born-again Christian should be separated from the world, daily consecrated, and dedicated to the House of God. (Romans 12:1-2; II Corinthians 7:1; Hebrews 10:25; I Corinthians 4:1-2; James 4:4; Ephesians 4:1; I John 2:15-17)

11. In the eternal security of the believer in Jesus Christ, and that he is kept by the power of God. He possesses everlasting life at the moment of salvation. (John 10:28-29; I Peter 1:5; John 3:16; John 5:24; I John 5:13)

12. In the eternal punishment of the wicked in a burning Hell, and the eternal bliss, happiness, and the joy of the saints in a real place, which the Bible calls Heaven. (Matthew 13:47-50; Mark 9:44-48; Revelations 7:15-17; John 14:2-3; Revelations 21:1-5)

13. That all men will stand in judgment to give account for the deeds done in the body. The Christians at the Judgment Seat of Christ. (John 5:27; Romans 14:10-12; I Corinthians 3:9-15) The wicked will stand at the Great White Throne Judgment of God. (Revelations 20: 11-15)

14. In the resurrection of the dead, both saved and lost, the saved unto the resurrection of life and the lost unto the resurrection of damnation, separated by at least 1,007 years. (John 5:29; Revelations 20:5-6)

15. In Christ’s imminent, personal, pre-tribulation, pre-millennial return for all the saved, according to His promise. (John 14:3; Matthew 24:21; Revelations 19:11-16; Revelations 20:1-5; Ezekiel 39:25; I Thessalonians 4:17)

16. That Christ will one day return to this earth and he shall literally rule and reign in peace upon the earth for a thousand years. (Revelations 20:4-6; Zachariah 14:4; Revelations 19:15)

Our ministry of faith is grounded on and limited by the Word of God. It is in His Word that we find our authority, through the local church, for what we believe and are obligated to perform.

The plenary and verbal inspiration of the Bible and its inerrancy as God’s Holy Word as contained in the King James Bible, and is the only correct rule of faith and practice. (II Peter 1:19-21; II Timothy 3:15; Psalms 119:89)
Joseph, you are mistaken. The Roman Catholic Church would disagree with several points here.
Messenger of God. You confirm that this is not a Roman Catholic statement.
Orion Star Ablaze: This is a doctrinal statement of an Independent Baptist Church.
great gig in the sky: Do you define legalism as following the Bible?

Yes, It’s exactly how I believe. I believe Baptists have the truest and most correct doctrine of any Christian group. I agree with every point of this doctrine. My dad used to say, "Let a man study the Bible for himself and he’ll end up a Baptist."

"Our ministry of faith is grounded on and limited by the Word of God"

No, I wouldn’t attend that church. Men wrote the books of the bible and decided which would be contained there.

People need to learn to think for themselves at some point.
MamaCat | Sep 20, 2009

Yes I would. You did say attend not join.

Although I am atheist I have no fear of learning about religious practices that other people do.

The doctrine you just laid out is no stranger to me than any christian faith.

All the mumbo-jumbo verses are based solely on faith. It cannot be proved or disproved.

Believe what you will but live in peace and treat others as how you want to be treated.

Peace.
Jeff (weseye) Wesley | Sep 20, 2009

What you have painstakingly researched is the basic theology of Roman Catholicism. Which is readily accepted by the believers of that faith. Most of the doctrine is unexplained by the Church, but that doesn’t matter. The believers accept it. What Roman Catholic theology says that these are the mysteries of the church. That is how they explain away the Holy Trinity. Or the virgin birth. Most of the ‘faithful’ accept this explanation with a smile on their face. In answer to your question: I would, I have, and I would again. Why? Why not? Can’t hurt. It’s a beautiful service, in spite of their theology. And everyone seems so devout. Like I said, Why not? Good Luck.

I need help with a movie…?
I don’t know if anyone can help, the movie was kind of obscure, but oh well.

I was being babysat once, and I watched this movie that I thought was really good. (Well, I was 5 so maybe it wasn’t THAT good, but still.) It came out about 1999, 2000. Here’s all I remember about it:

1. It was a cartoon

2. It was on Disney Channel

3. There was a mouse (a boy mouse, I think he was an orphan) looking for his sister.

He was an orphan, and along the way he went to a circus at one point (I think), with the "wacky cast of characters", and while he was there he met a girl. They eventually escaped the psycho circus and suddenly, at the end of the movie, the boy and girl mouse realize… *Shock* They’re brother and sister! And these marks on their hand prove that they’re related.

Look, for all I know this movie may not even exist, but it would be nice if it did. I *think* it was a musical, but I’m not sure. And I’m almost positive it’s not "An American Tail", but hey, maybe it is. It was a really obscure Disney movie. Help!!!
