So I was watching the sprouts go on their little adventure and then I noticed on our home video set that Kimmy and Dill were not in the good memory video so… I put them in a box and threw it into the ocean. Chaz is thretening to sue me and Stu wants me to go get fitted in a strap jacket… These youngins these days just can’t appreciate important deeds. I’m hoping this is a just a little game so I can freeload off my son because the people at the retirment home have a fetish for checkers and tapioca. I set up a lawn chair outside Stu’s house and now watch his family continue to progress until he forgives me… but will he forgive me? I noticed Chaz is sharpening an axe and has a coffin on his lawn that says "lou" so… WHAT IN TARNATION DO I DO?!

What about adding a second dog?
I like the idea of a second dog. However, Im thinking that Im not sure as I would like to get a foster dog to start with, I like the idea of ‘trying out’ having a second dog without the longer term commitment but more so the fact that I ave the time to spend with a new dog, socialising etc and hopefully helping them get their ’special’ home that without a foster home they may not get. Have you done this before? How was it? Would you do it again? What do you think of this?

We had a foster pom (and we have a pom of our own). It it good to have another dog around so that your dog always has someone to play with. I would suggest, if possible, fostering a dog with like energy and similar size as the dog you have. The worst thing is letting the other dog go and not having any say in the people who adopt the dog.

My SAT score is 910, I know, it sucks.
The reason is because I didn’t study for the SAT, and took it "for fun", and didn’t sleep at all the night before.
I have volunteered AND worked for non-profit organizations.

Go to JC and get the grades you’ve been getting, except maybe try Spanish . The CAP program is a great 2nd chance, but it is all on you. Do not be tempted to slack by all the other students and your friends – none of them will go to UCB unless they knuckle up too. I went into UCB straight-away, but see now that JC would have been the more academically and economically sound way to go, if I had discipline. Get the discipline or else.

Still, do not stress about your undergrad school’s name. DO stress about your undergrad GPA. Keep it above 3.6 at the VERY least and plan on grad school.

You have a pretty solid GPA. The C won’t look too good to highly-selective UCs like UCLA and UC Berkeley though.

Is your SAT score out of 2400? If so, then you should really consider retaking it because the average SAT score is 1500 (500 for each section).
Edit: nevermind, I read you plan on attending a community college, so it’s ok.

It’s hard to say which schools you would have a good shot at because they’re becoming pretty competitive these days. Probably UCR and UCD, *maybe* UCSB.

So, since you’re going to PCC (Pasadena City College I presume), you should aim for a 3.7 or 3.8 if you want to get into UCLA or another prestigious university. If you do the honors program at a community college, a lot of UCs have transfer agreements, so you should definitely look into that. UCLA doesn’t have guaranteed transfer agreements, but they do have "priority consideration" if you do the honors program. With UC Berkeley, you just have to apply like everyone else–no transfer agreement, no priority consideration, etc.

Entering as a freshman, it’s MUCH more competitive than applying as a junior.

If you have any more questions, your counselor at PCC will definitely help you out with everything.

Yeah, Austin feels alienated when he is defrosted in the 90s. What was considered socially acceptable in the 60s is no longer acceptable in the 90s, but Austin doesn’t realise this until he has already made mistakes that make him feel alienated amongst his modern peers.
He’s a man from the sixties who’s been thrown into the nineties, of course he feels alienated!

Dead beat dad? Some advice please?
My ex husband and I were together for five years and had a daughter in October 2008. When I was three months pregnant (May) he decided this wasn’t the life he wanted and told me it was over … yet continued to stay in our home and use me and lead me on until he found someone better (January). He has been gone since then and living with his new girlfriend who doesn’t work and supporting her. He drinks heavily again and although I know I should not I have opened his bank statement I just couldn’t help but wonder where his money could be going since he never had any for his daughter and her needs. He said he couldn’t give me child support in the amount of $250.00 per month which we agreed to upon seperation, and yet according to his bank statement he spent $300.00 on liquior mart and resturants alone in that month. We together had also bought a 50" Plasma TV on Boxing day last year just three weeks before he left for good, he was still making it seem like he wanted to fix things and make it better. He really played with my head and heart these last two years. It’s been a year since the final split and he’s paid less than half of the child support he should have paid me. He also still owes me half the money for the TV we went halvers on also. I live in manitoba and have thought about taking him for maintenance but don’t want to harm his relationship with our daugther, but then again I realize that he doesn’t spend much time with her regardless and shouldn’t care if this drives him further away and perhaps we are that much more better off. I would like to offer him the money that he pitched in when we bought the TV and get it back though, not sure how to go about handling that and also would like to bring it up that if he doesn’t smarten up that I will be taking him to court and his maintenance will fly through the roof as I am being more than lenient with what I am asking for now. Please any advice or ideas you can let me in on would be appreciated. I am not completely sure how to go about doing all this and hate the idea of driving a big angry stake into what is left of our parenting relationship but he’s no help really at all anyways, so I think it’s about time I stopped caring about him and his problems and started focusing on my daughter and our life. I am sick of being his little doormat and refuse to let this go on any more.
