Jesus’ disciples began meeting on Sundays…
In Old Testament times, God’s covenant people observed the Sabbath on the seventh day of the week because God rested on the seventh day when He had created the earth. After the Resurrection of Jesus Christ, which occurred on the first day of the week, the Lord’s disciples began observing the Sabbath on the first day of the week, Sunday (see Acts 20:7).
"And upon the first day of the week, when the disciples came together to break bread, Paul preached unto them, ready to depart on the morrow; and continued his speech until midnight."

Jesus overcame death on Sunday when He rose again. Death has no power over Him, That’s why this Sunday should always be remembered through all generations. Jesus is the Lord over Sabbath.

In total honesty neither day is accually Sabbath, man has messed with the calander so much, and interpetations of what is sabbath and what isn’t doesn’t mesh with what Jesus taught. The Bible doesn’t say what day is Sabbath, why? Because it isn’t important anymore, it was important to only those that lived in the times of the Bible. I like to live everyday like it is the Sabbath, but thats personal to me, just as God is personal to every individual on the planet, and I would think that the Biblical Sabbath since being personal can also be the 7th day after your birth. The first 6 days being your creation and growth, and the 7th being your birthday, because according to Catholic tradition (from my understanding) baptism is on the 8th day after your birth, I could be wrong on that, i’m not Catholic.

Saturday is still the Sabbath, the church never changed that. Sunday is the Lord’s Day.
Biblical references to happenings on Sunday, the first day of the week…
1. Jesus Christ rose from the dead on Sunday, Lk 24:1-12
2. Christ appeared to the disciples on the road to Emmaus, and celebrated the Eucharist on Sunday, Lk 24:13
3. Jesus appeared to the disciples behind closed doors, Jn 20:19
4. Jesus appeared to the disciples with Thomas one week later, Jn 20:26 NAB
5. Jesus opened the minds of the Apostles to the Scriptures, Lk 24:45
6. The Apostles received their ‘Great Commission’ to go and teach all nations, Mt 28:1-20.

I really doubt you were a Catholic because if you were you would know that the Catholic Church is the church that Jesus Christ established in 33AD and that it is the Catholic Church that gave us the bible in the 4th century so yes the church does come before the bible being the church was established first.. And yes you show hate not only towards your fellow Christians, you also show it to Jesus Christ everytime you slam His Catholic Church.

Actually, Catholics follow the Bible on this issue. Colossians 2:16: "Therefore do not let anyone judge you by what you eat or drink, or with regard to a religious festival, a New Moon celebration or a Sabbath day."
The considered opinion of the original Church and most Protestant groups, faithful to the teachings of Jesus as recorded in the Bible and through the apostles, is that Sunday is the day of Christian worship. We reject your false judgment about the Sabbath day.
With all the evils of this present age, from abortion to sexual immorality, where the world needs the united witness of Christian peoples, why does your sect attack the vast majority of Christians for following a 2000-year tradition coming from the apostles?

Where were the Sabbath truthers for 1500+ years? All those poor Christians took the "mark" and worshiped on Sunday are in Hell now. **shrug** Oh well. Better late than never, right?
Jesus is Lord of the Sabbath, Jesus is LORD of the law. The Sabbath symbolized a promise of rest in Jesus Christ after having been slaves to sin, it’s not about a having a day off. It’s not a curse, and your gang-of-fortune-telling-gypsies "church" is making it one.

Why don’t you put this much effort into striving and prayfully combining the mind of God with your own little flesh-ridden mind?
I’m sure God, in His ominpresence, realize all about the sabbath, but nonetheless designed that His only Son should Rise from the dead on "Sunday"! Did God make an error, in keeping with the old testament sabbath day and mistakenly designed that His Son would rise from the dead on the first day of the week? Maybe God should consult with SDA’s headquarters before he made such an indescretion, but, OOPS! SDA did not exist then, yet all these things were willed by the divine majesty of God. Sorry you disagree with HIs Divine Providence. Please recall that God’s son, left 12 men in charge of teaching and baptizing all nations all that God had handed on to them, so they have authority in the church, even tho’ you strongly disagree with the plans of God and his son.
