If this Cash for Clunkers scam isn’t bad enough already here’s something that should make you go postal. According to Michelle Malkin’s HotAir, Sen. Tom Coburn tried to change the Cash for Clunkers scam so that perfectly good used cars aren’t maliciously and deliberately destroyed.
Under Coburn’s amendment these perfectly good used cars would have gone to charities and needy families instead of being deliberately and maliciously destroyed. The Senate KILLED this amendment. Seems Democrats don’t want poor, needy people having good, affordable used cars!
West Virginia Senators Byrd and Rockefeller support the malicious destruction of good, used cars thereby DENYING poor and middle class West Virginians of good, affordable used cars. Sen Rockefeller voted against this amendment and Byrd didn’t vote on it.
I guess Byrd was too busy making sure his fair haired boy, Boss Hogg Manchin, gets his Senate seat to be concerned about West Virginia citizens who need but now can’t have a nice, affordable used car!!
This Cash for Clunkers scam is the biggest, worst, most malicious and blatant case of “Screw you” by the politicians and Government I have ever seen in my 46 years on this planet!
Destroying perfectly good used cars, denying poor and middle class people access to these perfectly good cars, is nothing more then a deliberate act of MALICE by Congress and Government against the people of the United States.
You ‘get a thrill up your leg’ seeing your hard earned tax dollars subsidizing someone else’s new car?? I sure as hell don’t. In fact I’m madder then hell about it!!
Our family drives ‘clunkers’ to save money only to now get penalized by the Congress for being careful with our money. You see, now all of our taxes are going to go up to pay for all these new cars.
Hope your neighbor let’s you at least drool on their new car since your hard earned tax dollars helped pay for it! Nice arrangement huh?? Your neighbor gets a new car and you get a higher tax bill to pay for it!
There is still hope to stop this insanity however.
If the State Legislatures and Governors would intervene and prohibit, either by act of the State legislature or Governor’s Executive Order, the wanton, deliberate and MALICIOUS destruction of perfectly good used cars, that poor and middle class people need, that would, at least temporarily, stop this insanity.
Destroying perfectly good used cars people need is NOT acceptable and we have to let the politicians know this clearly malicious behaviour by Government towards its citizens will not be tolerated under any circumstances.
Think about this, if the Government can be that malicious to a car what are they going to do to people under Obamacare? If Government bureaucrats can destroy a good used car without thought or care about the consequences to the people what are they going to do to people when they control healthcare?
They use ‘Clunker Death’ to maliciously kill a perfectly good car these days so now are they going to come out with ‘Granny Death’ to kill off Granny when she needs medcial help under Obamacare too?? Why not?
After all, if the Government can maliciously kill off cars that don’t meet their idelogical standards with Cars for Clunkers then why not people too under Obamacare ??
Don’t laugh but these Big Government control freaks are just that loony, sick and dangerous. When some idiot tries to tell you the Government knows what best for you then you had better be scared shitless!
