How can christians defend this?
God can do anything, right? So why can’t he forgive sin? He cannot come into contact with sin…. Well didn’t God create everything? Including sin? Yes. If God cannot have contact with sin, yet, Jesus was God, then jesus bore the sins of mankind. So if Jesus was God then God still had interaction with sin. It is a joke that you make God jump through hoops. He must die to forgive. Who the hell are you telling "must" anything. He is God and he "must" do nothing. He does whatever he wants however he wants. He is God. Islam offers all of the prophets and the same God as the old testiment. Minus the partners. Jesus was the messiah, but he was not the son of God. God has no children. You feel fear because your soul is searching. It is searching because it is not guided.
God did not create sin, man did by refusing to conform his own will to his Creator’s. Peace.

They don’t try to. You can get into the most convoluted "reasoning" when you discuss the unreasonable with them…remember what faith is" belief with no proof.

How can you defend this. God said this is my beloved Son, who I am will pleased with? So if God didn’t have a son, than doesn’t that mean the bible is a lie? You need to go back and do your homework because you don’t know scripture.
Sin also means to disobey. Who is God disobeying? You don’t make the rules, commands or the laws, God does, so no he did not create sin. The devil did when he disobeyed God.

When a believer in Christ and what he did for us at the cross dies, their spirit goes to heaven. There they await the day for Christ
