No, nor should he be. Having faced demoralizing defeats himself, I’m sure he can sympathize with Andy. However, the sad truth with tennis, like any sport, is that every time a player wins it has to be at the expense of someone else: There are no ties in tennis. Roger won fair and square. Murray just didn’t play well enough to get any momentum going and get the crowd into the match. That is Andy’s fault, not Roger’s. Its up to Murray to play better next time he finds himself in a Major final.

i am sure a part of federer sympathies with murray… because every champion has walked in another players shoes because every champion has had there first final…… and they can relate to that..
but sports are sports.. there are winners and losers.. and federer did not want to be the loser.. murray could not figure out well enough to be the winner.. its life..
