Tips for first time airplane riders?
This is my first time riding a plane… in June. What are some tips/advice you would give me? Also, I am traveling from America to Latin America. I have never been overseas. Got any tips? Thanks.

tips for flying…
Take gum along to chew for take off and landing. It’ll help even out the pressure in your ears.
Take a dramamine or some kind of motion sickness pill before you go.
Make sure you check the rules for what you can take on the plane, you can check this at www.tsa.gov
Before you leave for the airport call them to make sure your flight is on time.
Arrive at the airport atleast 2 hours before your flight.
Make sure atleast one other person has your flight details.
Don’t go on to your flight hungry, and take along some snacks. Airlines have been cutting down on the amount of food they offer in flight, and it’s really expensive. However, since you are traveling overseas there will probably be more options than continental flights.
Familiarize yourself with the safety proceedures and where the exits are. You most likely won’t need them, but you want to be safe just incase.
Have two forms of acceptable I.D., you can find a list of these at www.tsa.gov

tips for going overseas…
Obviously, what you have to be aware of matters on where you are traveling but here are a few suggestions
KNOW ABOUT THE WATER – make sure you know if drinking tap water is safe, or it will make you very sick
Make sure you have all needed immunizations. You can check out which vaccinations the government recommends at http://wwwnc.cdc.gov/travel/
Look in to getting travel insurance, or into what your insurance covers overseas
Make sure atleast one person back in the states knows all your travel plans
Learn basic phrases of the language most spoken in the country you’re going to, and take along a phrase book
Read up about the place you’re going to, you want to be informed about it’s history and it’s customs. Don’t look like a stupid American.
Make sure you have a passport that extends atleast six months past youre expected date of return.

Don’t look suspicious or act like a "dork"! I can always spot a first time "plane rider", they have this "deer and the headlights" look! They also have this compulsion to tell everyone in the airport, including the flight crew (including the the captain) that this is their first plane ride.

If you’re good they may even give a set of clip on flight wings and make you an honorary member of the crew. That means you’ll get an extra bag of peanuts!

My fiance and I are about to split but we have an 8 month old .What rights do I have as a father?
My fiance and I are about to end our relationship, it’s just not working out but we both are great to our son. We are in the state of Michigan. I want at least 50/50 custody of my son but she is saying that it’s the law that one of us has to be the primary guardian, meaning the primary guardian will have the say when it comes to medical, schooling, religion etc. She says it should be her just because she is the mother. I watch my son more during the week, have my own place to live, make more money and have more family in the area that would be involved if needed ie babysitting and just in my sons life etc. She is moving back into her moms home. Now my question is, what are my rights as a father and also, what are my chances of being primary guardian? I know the law is usually unfair and swayed towards the mother, but any advice or answers I really could use right now. Also, if our son is living with each of us 50/50, would I still have to pay her child support? Doesn’t seem right but who knows. Thank you everyone for your help
Thanks everyone for your answers so far, they are useful. I’m def trying to keep things very civil for my sons sake, but his mother def has a temper on her so I have to watch my step a little bit. I have always told her that he needs both of us in his life 50/50 and we always have to be nice to each other in front of him not to mention make decisions that is the best for him, not our own interests. She is already stating where he should go to school etc, and hes only 8 months old. Obviously she says he should go to school by her but I said lets wait and see what his interests are at that point, and see what school district suits those needs more. I guess I don’t understand why I would give her child support if we both have him the same amount of time, I have to pay my own mortgage and bills and she will have no bills or mortgage living at home. I have no problem providing for him, but seems pretty unfair that I would have to give her money when she has no bills.

This sure looks like a school homework question to me. I would imagine that some packages were mentioned in class or in the reading you were assigned to do. I don’t have that information so it’s hard for me to know exactly what the teacher is expecting.

If the second one (manufacturing inventory) is not too big, you could use openoffice to take care of all 4 needs. For any of these you can step up to software packages that are more tailored to the need. Initial cost and the amount of time needed to learn/train for the software used are examples of factors used in the decision-making process.

seven kids go in a cave,they are about 15 years old, there names are george,larry,kendall,ralph,sidney,amanda,and roger
they come across a unusually dark corner so they send larry it to stand in it, only for a second, so he does, then these dark spiderlike claws dig into his shoulders, go through his leg,through his arms, hes bleeding and screaming and it pulls him up into the ceiling, so they try escapeing, but it caved in, and they wandered around the cave looking for an exit, they saw an unusually red glowing light and went toward it, they saw larry suspended by the claws and bleeding, he was trying to speak but blood was gushing out of his mouth, he was saying that they abandoned him, and that they are going to die, then he had a sezire and died, so then he was pulled back up and eaten, the kids wandered around more and saw an odd shadow, they ignored it until it got very close, they stared at it for a second and then froze, it was a spider looking thing, so they run, sadly amanda and roger where closest, amanda was killed instantly by a claw through the eye, roger wasnt so lucky, he had 2 claws through his kneecaps and it dragged him away, george chased after them but after the sounds of his footsteps faded he was left behind, and then the group went farther and saw a door, and went into it to see a dimly lit lab with a crazed scientist mumbling to himself in a corner, he had c4 and a detonator in his hand, and a 357.magnum on the table, the c4 was in his lap, and the kids talked him down, he warned them that these experements where violent and they where once human, he told of how he abducted small children and exposed them to chemicals, kendall then picked up the magnum and ralph got the detonator out of his hand and sidney got the c4 and then kendall shot the scientist between the eyes, then as they where leaving the room kendall stops, puts the gun to his head and shoots himself, ralph picked up the gun and they continued through the cave, they came across another room, they went in and the room was littered with the mutilated bodies of small children, they left the room and found a small hole in the cave, they then blew a hole in the cave and escaped, exept they didnt know how to handle c4 very well and ralph was killed in the blast, then as sidney is exiting the cave george comes crawling over, covered in blood, angry as hell, and picked up the gun she left on the floor and is about to shoot her when she runs over and crushes his windpipe under her shoe and gets the gun, she goes back to her hous and its late, there is an eerie silence when she gets there and looks around, here is blood everywhere and the power is out, so she goes in the kitches to see the mangled corpses of her family and then she runs out of the house, she hears the things in the woods surrounding her so she waits, one dosent see her and she jumps up and shoots it in the head, it slumps down and then she finds a shack, she goes in and sees one of her friends who wasnt with them, his corpse is half eaten and rotting, so she runs out, and she goes into town screaming for help but its deserted, every building she finds it covered in corpses and blood, she sees one slowly walking through an alley and hides, it sees her and charges, she shoots it but anoter hears the gunshot and jumps off the roof and stabs her through both calves, she drops the gun and twitches in pain and cant even scream, she is dragged through the streets and it makes a terrible bone chilling sound and more start to come, they start eating her alive right there, shes still concious and they pass a corpse with a knife on it, she takes it and cuts off her legs and starts to crawl away, she makes it into a building and they dont notice, they keep eating the legs, she hides in an office and hears noises outside,its them they are coming up for her, after an agonizing 10 seconds the sounds stop and she hears artillery fire, the military has come to save her, she stops the bleeding from her legs with cloths stolen from corpses and her other wounds arent so bad, she crawls for a window and sees the monsters lit on fire and being shot with acr’s and m16’s and artillery, the military overruns the town, she notices a mother and her baby was in the room with her, frozen in fear, an infantry team comes to the room, she begs them to save her but they just shoot her in the head, then her child, they see the injured girl and shoot a few m16 rounds into her chest, shes dead, the military covers it up and says it was a disease that wiped out the small town, but what they didnt know is that one of the experements breached the perimeter they set and it was carrying eggs, it hatched them in a cave and they multiplied and the fun was about to start for another town
yes i wrote this off top of my head
and i find it sort of comical, if you dont then its just horror i guess
