purchased the press & needed the stand to go with it since I did not want to use it on a table top. Well you would have to be about 4 ft tall to use the press w/ the stand. The top of the stand came up to just below my waist (I’m 5′2″). We ended up returning this item. We now use the press on top of our ironing board which seems to work OK.
