just trying to catch up with wuts been going on this past weekend...

 well its late sunday night and i just got back from the grocery store. i was the ultimate lazy-ass the whole weekend and i am so proud of it! forealz i did not step one foot outta my crib since friday evening til 10:30 PM sunday nite. the only reason i even left was cause i ran out of drinking water and cooking oil. i hate going shopping after work cause of the traffic so decided i better get off my lazy butt and take care of business while it was still the weekend. i started the truck and guess wut?? it made a really loud sound from the power steering pump. i noticed it friday coming home but completely forgot about it. now it was late at nite so i couldnt see a thing but proceeded to drive to the grocery store anyways. worse comes to worse i'll overpay for some power steeing fluid (if thats the problem). finished my shopping and bought some power steering fluid, popped the hood latch and went to the hood. now wut??? the damn thing wont open. wtf?? u gotta be kidding! played around with it for 10 mins and finally got it to open. whew, that was close! added some fluid and did a coupla donuts in the parking lot just to make sure. no noise. thank goodness for small favors.

 hmmm... last nite i watched "doom" with the rock. it was just aite for me but i was expecting a little bit more. the special effects were pretty tight tho. also yesterday my University of Texas (ranked #1 on the BCS) spanked Baylor University 62 - 0. i felt really sorry for Baylor about the high score but we gotta do something to remain #1 in the computer rankings. i hate kicking an opponent when they're already down, but i guess Coach Brown had his reasons. This may be the first year that we went undefeated since i guess the early 70's. man i cant wait til we play USC in the championship. cross your fingers!

 sundays are supposed to be my NFL day. but since 3 weeks ago.. i've had no desire to keep up with it. today wasnt any different. the way i've been feeling recently, any more testosterone would've put me over the edge. same with movies. i havent watched a movie in such a long time, but earlier today i finally watched "War of the Worlds".  i've been dying to see it since it came out but the peeps i was with at the time didnt wanna see it. it was a pretty awesome movie. i thoroughly enjoyed it except for the little girl that played tom cruise's daughter. she was such a whiny and annoying little brat. i really hoped she would've gotten torn apart by the aliens. grrrrrr. and the guy that played his son... dont even get me started on that dude. it was so cheesy that he was alive and at his mum's house at the end of the movie, after tom cruise thought he'd been killed by the aliens. what do u expect froma steven spielberg movie tho. *rolls eyes*.

 but the highlight of the weekend was when i got to talk to my baby again. she called me up last night but was only able to talk for like 3-4 minutes. everything just moved so quickly between the two of us but we just seemed to click together.

we are worlds apart yet seem to have found each other when we really weren't expecting to. i know i'm probably gonna be making lots of enemies because of this but everybody had their chance for happiness earlier. the risk is high but the reward can be great. i had sworn in the past that i wouldn't let myself get involved with a person from this particular country because many of them played too many mind games. but she is special. she surprises me in so many ways. while i was grocery shopping, she sent me an offline message from the uni telling me that she had a 30 min break and just wanted to see if i was online. sigh.... i miss her again already.

 well its almost 12:30 AM and i really need to get my butt in bed. 6:30 AM is just around the corner. good night to my love and peace out to everybody else.
