I Have a Tendency to Make Myself Laugh

5 Days Till My Birthday

I’m in a good mood today… I’m not really sure why but why fight it right? I think a lot of it has to do with the music I’m listening to. Though I do feel as though I’m in a deep good music drought I have been enjoying my song selections today so that’s good. I turn 21 in 5 days… how exciting. Well not really but kinda. You know when you’re little you always look forward to your birthday because you know that the people you love (well usually just your family) will make a big deal about it. It’s funny how you hit like 15 or 16 and then your birthdays just don’t seem as special. I didn’t even have parties from 16-19. This birthday, for some reason, has got me all excited. I think it’s because I’m getting a tattoo on my birthday! I’m so stoked for that. I feel as though this is my last birthday that I can have a big party and not feel stupid. My friend Stephanie (my really, really hot friend… see “Oh My Gosh I’m the Ugly Friend” post) and I have the same birthday (JULY 5^th) so we started having joint parties last year which is always fun. This year we are doing “a salute to our childhood” party. Which means it’s at the skate deck… ahhh like old times. I’m really excited for my party! I’m also excited about being 21. I think I will really feel more like an adult. I’m not a drinker so it’s not that I’m excited about that. I don’t know, I think people may treat me differently if they know I’m 21. Regardless of all of that I’m just so excited to be 21.

          On a totally different topic… I called my friend Keane (who’s selling me his Explorer) to check up on how the fixing of the antenna is going. He hadn’t found a place to fix it yet. I kinda feel like a jerk cuz I said I was in no hurry a week ago… but I sort of am. I still have the Jetta but… man I just want a new car! I felt bad for pestering him but I’m so excited for it. Plus Brock (a dude from church) is going out of town for a month and has given me all the Metro Kidz stuff to haul in my car… 3 large Rubbermaid bins, 2 big cardboard boxes a large Victoria Secret bag full of crafts and a duffle bag! What happened to the good ole Metro Kidz days when we just had the 3 bins… so pretty much my car is a one-person car… not cool. So I’m going to try to organize everything into just the 3 bins… wish me luck!

          I talked to Jason today so that means they are back from their honeymoon! I’m really beginning to like Jason. I’m glad Cheryl caught a good guy! She deserves to be treated like a queen. Anyway I guess that’s all I’ve got (and to think when I started I had nothing to say…)!
