Sleepless Nights

Ah, what a busy day. Things are picking up so much I’m scared I might not get a chance to write about it all. Well today I got an email from an old friend and it was great to hear from her. Guess how she found me? Yup through this blog. I think that rocks! For those of you from the old ANCC who wish to get in contact with Jamie McDonald let me know and I’ll hook you up. Moving on… I had the worst night ever last night! Well I had a great evening chillin with my roomie it was the going to bed part of the night that sucked so bad. I went to bed at 11. Which is good cuz I’m trying desperately to hold on to any sort of bedtime (a girl needs structure you know). Well let’s just say I didn’t fall asleep until sometime after 5 am. Isn’t that crazy? I was so mad. So today I’m a little perturbed because my voice is a little rougher than I would prefer it to be (especially on a rehearsal night) and my body is just not keeping up with me. Hopefully tonight will be better. I tried everything to fall asleep though. I prayed, read my word, played piano, told myself jokes… the list goes on. Nothing worked. When you can’t sleep what do you do? Huh? Please let me know your remedies to a sleepless night. Linz

My mommy has BIG promblems with that. What she told me works for her (what worked for her may not work for you) is saying the Lords prayer or whatever you call it here in America. I cna give you the Russian way of saying, but that won't work.

Telling yourself jokes?

How do you tell yourself a joke if you already know the punchline? You can't possibly be blond to the point where you think the punchline will be different when it is your own joke. Jeez! That's the weirdest thing I've ever heard. Okay, not the weirdest, I have heard some severely weird things. But it still is pretty weird. Anyways, my remedy for insomnia: Fill a large bucket with guacomole. While standing in the bucket, spin around while singing "Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star". After the song is finished, stand on your head for exactly one minute and two seconds. After that go piss a skunk off, so he will spray you. Then go fingerpaint for fifty-three seconds. Dig a hole to the center of the earth. Cut off all your hair and throw it in the hole. Fill the hole with Twinkies. Wash the guacomole from between your toes. Cover yourself with whip cream and go to bed. Prepare yourself for the best sleep of your life. Works every time, I'm thinking of having it patented.

I heard that listening to Harry Potter books are a good cure for insomnia, and even if it doesn't work, at least you've got a good story line to be miserable to...Try book 2 I hear that is especially good to sleep to. If that does not work I know the movies are almost equally effective. Good luck you gorgeous insomniac!
