I Have a Tendency to Make Myself Laugh

So Many Emotions in One Post... I'm Not an Obsessed Fan

Well today has been… to be honest not so hot. I woke up this morning not feeling so well. Hopefully I will kick it soon! Well this weekend was really busy. Here’s your recap!

Friday: I decided that instead of passing out fliers I would take a Lindsey Day. Which I never do but you do have to take care of yourself. I decided that I wanted to see a movie at the $4.50 theater. I figured the only movie that I would enjoy by my self (more because I didn’t really want to tell people that I wanted to see it) was “The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants”. I thought it was a cute concept and went for it. Movies like this though make me feel like the devil. Every single girl in this theater is crying… and I am sitting there trying not to laugh. WARNING SPOILER COMING! There is this little girl who has leukemia in the movie. And one of the sisters (you know of the traveling pants) comes to her bedside crying begging her to try on the pants. Why you may ask… because she claims the pants will save her. So if stifled tears this teenage girl starts to cry, “put them on they’ll save your life”. At that line I was the only girl in the whole theater who was holding back laughter… not tears. I felt like ice woman… but I did find it funny so it was all good. Then I went home and chilled… I love chillin!

Saturday: What a busy day man! I woke up around 9:30 and the electrician guy came and fixed my living room (I’ve been sans electricity in there for a about a week… no lights or TV… sucked)! Then I went to the store and got some stuff for Lindsay. After that I met her downtown and we went and saw Trina’s play, “Uncle Willy and the Chocolate Factory”. Trina was a dirty dancing oompa loompa… it was a cute play though. Then we went to the church and prepared for Rumble in the Jungle. It was a good night. About 30 people got saved and everyone received a backpack. One of my Metro Kidz won a $50 gift certificate to Wal-Mart and didn’t understand what it was. His mom knew though. When I told her she started to scream and had to sit (she practically fell) on her stairs to calm down. It was just awesome.

Sunday: Church went well. I thought I was gonna be late but I wasn’t which was nice. Worship went well and our choir did its first real special. We had a blast. Then I had a meeting with minister Paul and figured a few things out. After I went to Qdoba with Lody, Hannah and Wiley. After I dropped them all off I went home chilled with Lindsay and fell asleep. I woke up in time to watch the VMAs (I was really disappointed with Diddy’s hosting… it was a real let down I was bored most of the time). I also watched The 4400 season finale… I’m also not too sure I like how they ended the season.

One thing I need to address. Everyone is talking about how bad Kelly Clarkson sounded last night at the VMAs and I have to disagree. For one she actually sang… with no back up vocals or guide tracks. No other female singer did that last night. Secondly, the song she sang was a rock song. It’s not supposed to sound like the other songs she has sung in the past. It is suppose to sound like screaming sometimes. People are so critical of female singers. She is singing rock at the moment. Get over the fact that she doesn’t have this crystal clear voice right now. And thirdly, she is coming off of her second tour in 3 months. She’s probably a little rougher then usual. I sound way worst then that after singing for a conference or camp! So for all of you kids/adults complaining about Kelly’s voice… well I’m not really going to do anything about it but if you aren’t a singer…  you pretty much don’t know what you’re talking about! How’s that for someone who doesn’t see themselves as an obsessed fan? Linz

you are so insensitive sometimes

How can you sit there showing so much compassion towards Kelly Clarkson, but can speak so meanly of the sisters who are united by a traveling pant? That is real pain, real love, real pants, and the pants deserve more respect than what you just protrayed. The ending with the girl with Leukemia was more than touching. And just so you know, Jesus works through pants too. Think about that next time you decide to show such sick favoritism towards Kelly Clarkson and not the rest of the world.
By the way Cheryl says you smell like stink.... I think you know what that means.
