It's My Birthday!

God is doing so much right now it’s blowing my mind. But the old saying “When God starts blessin the devil starts messin” is so ringing true right now. Every person in ministry that I know right now is getting attacked some how. With finances, health, family, whatever. It’s so crazy but God is so faithful. Remember that even when you are going through God is there setting up a reward at the end of each trial. I believe that my reward will be the success of our “Take Me Back” concert. It’s just crazy the attacks that have been going on! But God is good! I’m just waiting for the big pay off!

Today is a special day for me. For those of you who don’t know I was saved 6 years ago today! I remember it so clearly: earlier that week Julie Henningsgaard had this disposable camera and was taking pictures of random people and giving them this flier explaining that their picture was taken to be put up for display around a youth church sanctuary. Thinking (because I am that gullible) that I was pretty much obligated to go I willingly went and had a real encounter with my now best friend (for those of you who didn’t catch that I was alluding to Jesus)! Back in the day of Millennium Youth Church their worship team had these risers off to the side where you could stand and sing and pretty much be a part of their worship team. Julie naturally went up there and sang… so I did to (even though I didn’t know one song). At the end of the worship service Pastor Israel Campbell came up and did an alter call. I had never felt the presence of God before and was overwhelmed by it. I knew at that moment that God was actually real. He wasn’t just a symbol to pledge a false allegiance to, but a real being who loved me so much that He would sacrifice His Son that I might live a life free from sin. I praise God everyday for saving me so young. If you don’t know Jesus or what He’s done for you I would encourage you to ask to have a real encounter with Him now. Jesus is real and His sacrifice (all the Passion stuff) it all really happened. And all for you; that you could be free. And know that no matter what you have done God will forgive it! As crazy as it sounds if you killed someone and I just told a little white lie they are all the same to God. He sees sin all equal. So nothing you have done is too bad. Jesus loves you no matter what! If you want Jesus in your life just pray this prayer. Dear Jesus, I believe that You are real. I thank You for dying for me and setting me free. Thank You for giving me peace. Forgive me of everything I have done, thought or said that hurt You. I want to know You more. Make Yourself real to me right now. I love You. Amen. It’s that easy! You’re now saved! The next thing You need to do is find a Bible believing church that will help you in becoming the best Christian you can be. I just wanted to say hey and how much this post encouraged me. I soo know what your talking about with the devil messin. How when it starts goin good, thats when the devil starts makin it hard for you. Hope you stay this passionate for God. I know I find it reeeal hard.
