I Have a Tendency to Make Myself Laugh

I have the distinct feeling that nobody reads this… is my life really that boring? Oh well I will tough it out. I have had a really busy yet completely uneventful past few days. Well let’s see…

Saturday: I did Metro Kidz (an awesome program!) and God has been so awesome our whole crew. And my crew… they are troopers. You gotta love it when there is maybe 4 people handling sometimes 40 kids! Then I hung out with Cheryl and Jason. OH! Let me just say that it is sad when you can go into your local Qdoba (or any other fine dining establishment) and the manager calls you out by name, knows your order by heart and then reprimands you for not coming more. Yes… I’ve been cutting down on Qdoba… and I’ve been doing a darn good job at it too!

Sunday: I went to church and the service was great! Katie led worship and did an awesome job! We even got out early (if you have ever been to my church you know that alone is a miracle). Then I went home and chilled with my roommate… who has never seen one Star Wars movie! So of course I had to educate her. We decided to start with the first of the trilogy we will finish up those three and then see one and two before we go to the theater to see number three. Then after we watched the movie we went to Dave’s house (Jessica’s fiancé) for a surprise renewing of the vows ceremony for the Hayashis. It was really fun and beautiful. I love the Hayashis they are the coolest people. Anyway… then Zay and I went home and watched the season finale of Cold Case… it was a really scary one but I loved it.

Monday: I didn’t write on Monday because I had to staple little fliers on my mom’s book for count it 7.5 hours! Yes… stapling is by far my least favorite part of my job. What really sucks is I kept licking my fingers so I could get a better grip on the fliers and the book pages and honestly ingested so much ink I can still taste it now… nasty. My throat is all dry and my spit… well I won’t go there.

Anyway on with today… today has been kinda dramatic for one of my friends. Cheryl called me today upset because news has reached her that our bridesmaid dresses aren’t very cute… and to be honest it’s the truth. I told her when I saw it in the magazine that I wasn’t a huge fan of it but I could deal… some of my other friends didn’t phrase their disappointment as nicely. But we can work it out. That same friend (Cheryl if you have already forgotten) as has tickets to go see Kelly Clarkson with me on Thursday… what’s the problem you ask??? She thought the concert was on Wednesday… oops! Can see get work off? I will keep you posted… try not to lose sleep over it! Or hey if you want to buy the tickets from her (like $50) give me a call! The only thing better then going and seeing Kelly live is getting the chance to not only hear Kelly belt out all her songs, but you’ll also get to hear the great Lindsey Parker backing her up! Other than that drama things have been kinda normal. I am going to Mr. Castro’s retirement concert tonight. That should be fun to see some old friends. Anyway that’s all I got.
