I Have a Tendency to Make Myself Laugh

Dear Vincent,

I just finished your sub-blog and bottom line I laughed a lot. I’m glad that you are back 100% with your words because, to be quite honest, I was tired of holding back mine. Now that you are back in shape our banter will undoubtedly improve. I am obviously dedicating this post to you because I clearly have much to say regarding your comments. I guess I should start from the beginning (please read the most recent sub blog or this post wont make much sense):

Yes I am forgetful. I am not too ashamed to admit it. It’s not like I forget big details though. If it’s important it’s in my phone; if it isn’t then… well there’s a 50% chance I will get my facts mixed up. Now, I don’t mean to hurt your feelings but our drive down to Kent was not something that was so life changing that I would remember every single detail. All I remember is driving by the U… WU.

I forgot to write about you playing me singing for your family… that just wasn’t right. You know it’s stuff like that, that just make someone uncomfortable. I’m not mad. Them hearing a bit of me singing was inevitable, but man I was sitting right there. Oh well, that’s not the end of the world. I will find something that will make you feel a bit awkward in front of my parents. I know it will be a challenge but I’m up for it.

OH! In regards to you having to write that you woke up earlier than I did on Thursday… is that your idea of a game??? Cuz I wasn’t playing buddy! Anyways I would be up early too if I had the visits you had that night.

Games, games, games… that’s what life is all about isn’t it. I accept your challenge Mr. Humphrey and I will bring my A game. I know that you feel like you are the master competitor but I do believe you have met your match. And if by chance I lose… well lets just say you don’t want to see that (right mom and Julie). Well if you lose… I’ve seen that and it’s not a good look for you. Bottom line you know that I am ready anytime to take you on. Bring on the board games baby!

Let me say right here that meeting all of the wonderful women who helped raise Vincent was such an honor. To Mrs. Humphrey, Aunt Linda, and Aunt Niecey: I would just like to thank you for raising such a wonderful young man. I know he was definitely a project for all of you and I’m sure he didn’t make it easy. But it is apparent that you all have been a huge influence on him and you have really done a great job! I am truly thankful for all of you; because I know that without your prayers, love and support Vincent wouldn’t be the man he is today. I look forward to getting to know each of you better in the future; and I cant wait to spend Christmas with you all!

Um… yeah that centipede was pretty freaky; and I’m not going to lie I struggle with the chopsticks. There’s always next year…

I love date day too.

Well there is so much more I could say. Yes Katie’s “OH MY GOD” was quite awesome. And no I don’t know how to spell gnarly (WHOA I think that’s it)… I promised my mother I would refrain from extra sappy posts, and Mr. Humphrey you definitely filled our sappy-blog quota for the day. So I guess in regards to your second to the last paragraph I’ll just say ditto. Ms. Taylor

Today was boring enough. I got my tire fixed and I ate at the Cabbage Patch (I hadn’t been there in years). Thank God for Vincent’s post cuz I would have had nothing to say. Now I am here at work. I could have left 20 minutes ago but I couldn’t leave without responding (remember I’m forgetful all of my good comebacks and comments would have been long gone come tomorrow). So have a great evening everyone. I will go sit at home, waiting for a phone call, wishing I was working on a puzzle. Linz

I don't think that it's appropriate that you comment on Lindsey's memory, or lack of it....her mother has a brain tumor you know!

ahh yes Jane does indeed have a brain tumor but then again lindseys irregularly sized head would lead to the belief that she also has a tumor..but no people her head IS really that big...thank you for your time

I would like to defend myself with the "OH MY GOD"; it was the kind of situation that needed prayer, so I was crying out to the Lord. So... maybe everyone else heard me too, but I really... it's not like I meant to!! Plus, it was a traumatic day for me as it was... the creepy mall man putting together outfits for me, plus having to talk to myself about the sweater I liked because a certain couple (cough)(cough) were so distracted by their own kanoodling that they couldn't hear what I was saying... honestly, I think I handled it all pretty well....
