I Have a Tendency to Make Myself Laugh

Well hello! I figured now that I am back in my regular routine I should blog for real now. Yup I’m done with the survey type blogs for a bit. It’s time to get back to my life… or I guess the “my life” that you all read about. Last night at choir someone pointed out my ring and asked if it was an engagement ring. Now I understand why they would ask. I mean I have an amazing morethanaboyfriend and though we have only been together for 3 months… and 1 day… I know (as does pretty much everyone else in my life) that I am going to marry him. However, way before WU was in my life I was wearing a ring on my left hand. So it is kinda strange that people are just now noticing how I wear my jewelry.

Staying roughly on the same topic I made a deal with myself last night. Seeing that I have an amazing morethanaboyfriend it has become obvious to me that I need to work on some “domestic skills” if you will. Yeah, cuz I’m sure I can cook, and I know I can clean… but now is just the time to put it all to serious practice. So I have now dubbed my Thursdays “WIT Day” (WIT: Wife In Training). Why Thursday? I’m glad you asked for the most part Thursday is a dead day to me. I don’t usually have church events on that day. So for the most part I just come home and chill. So for the next 52 Thursdays of 2006 (give or take a few days… I will allow life to happen) I will be focusing on my culinary, cleaning and overall wife skills. This is where you all come in. If you love to cook and you have any recipes you think I should try out post them! I’m not entirely picky when it comes to food (just no pickles or black licorice… that stuff is banned from everything Vincent and Lindsey). If you are married and you have suggestions of things I should focus on post it. I would just appreciate in general so comments. I guess that’s all I have to say. In terms of resolutions I didn’t really make any. I just want to make sure that I start preparing myself for my future now. There’s no real reason to wait. So there you go WIT Thursday will start tomorrow! Wish me luck! Linz

PS Julie if you read this I would love your recipes for your artichoke dip and your Mediterranean burgers! Thanks man!

All you have to do is go to the site where you can add a new entry. Go down the list and click on manage friends. Then all you have to do is put in their username (exp: LindseyTaylor) then click add! It's easy once you do it but it's difficult to find! Hope I helped! Linz

Here's all you need to know:
Artecoke dip
one jar of quartered artechokes, half a thing of frozen spinache, half a stick of cream cheese, two cups of pepar jack cheese (grated), one can of condensed cream of cheddar cheese soup, and a little tabasco... just a little. Mix it all up, cook until slightly brown on top at 350 degrees.

Mediteranean burgers.... I'll have to get back to you, but you should never underestimate the power of a good meatloaf... just a thought.
