I Have a Tendency to Make Myself Laugh

Well I’m sure you are all waiting to hear about my first WIT day! Let me tell you it went pretty well! I didn’t make the dessert (cuz I didn’t really have the time) but the dinner turned out decent. By decent I mean that I did the recipe right but I am not a big meat loaf fan and it kinda turned out that way. Last night did however inspire me! I think all this month I will be working with the bell pepper. Why? Because I love bell peppers! I think next WIT day I am going to do a chicken alfredo and make my sauce and put it in a hallowed out bell pepper. Yeah that Thursday will be more about presentation then actual skill…cuz I’ve made that dinner a zillion times before… but it’s so good! Then I think I’m going to edit last night’s recipe and instead of baking it (which took forever and created the meat loafiness I’m so not fond of) I will just make the beef like I do for tacos. Then I will fill the pepper with the meat, cheese… and well if you know how I like my tacos (when I make them at home) then you get the point.  

I’m sure that paragraph was terribly boring for those of you who could care less if I am working on my cooking skills. I do, however, have some super exciting news! Today is the 20^th birthday of the coolest guy in the entire world! Yup, yup, yup Vincent turned 20 today! How exciting. Now, without giving much away I have to let you know that planning is not my strong suit. I use to be good at coming up with creative ideas and making them happen. Somehow, between living with Julie and now I’ve lost my edge. I’ve had a little something planed for a while now (not a party) and now… the day of it is slowly falling apart. It’s all-good though. The thing about Vincent is he’s a lot like me in the sense that if anything is done for us we are just happy that someone thought of us. It really takes a lot of the pressure off. So tonight should be interesting… we will see how this whole thing works out. So for those of you reading this please post a comment about how awesome it is that Vincent has left his teen years! Even if you don’t know him! Leave a little message! Well WU it's been a great... 3 months knowing you as 19. I have a feeling that 20 will be a bit better though! You rock, I love you and I'll see you tonight... yeah that's all you blog readers get to hear! Linz
