Sep. 4, 2005 - "How 'Bout Them Saints? Underwater."
I heard of this from a friend's parent, and I find this really strange...Please comment if you've heard about this.
I live in northern Louisiana in the area that wasn't effected by Katrina. So, of course I hear almost everything that's going on in New Orleans. I've also heard a few jokes like "How 'bout them Saints? Oh. Underwater..."
Well, anyway, I'm not really into football, but my friend and her family are. They mentioned how the owner of the New Orleans Saints wanted a new stadium built other than the Superdome, and he was threatening lawsuit after lawsuit just for it to happen. On the Sunday game, inside the Superdome, the Sunday before the hurricane hit, he was literally on his knees, praying for the hurricane to hit the stadium.
Well, be careful what you wish for, dude.
I don't know if it's just a coincidence or not, or if it's even true, but that's probably the stupidest thing to do, especially now that the outcome of it is thousands of suffering people.

And please donate to the Red Cross or any other organization that helps with the hurricane victims.
