Oct. 17, 2005 - Gah... (1)

Yeah... I've avoided writing in this godforsaken blog long enough, I suppose...

Relationship is good... I guess... besides the fact that we never have anything to talk about on the phone.

We spent a lot of time together this weekend, though we were pretty sure that would be a no-go on account of I was planning to be busy all Saturday and Sunday (Saturday with band competition ((I was working)) and Sunday with my project). But, luckily it's fall break, I guess.

Him and his friend John (John is my friend AoiHi's boyfriend, and she was also working for the band) surprised us with a little visit during the finals (which was coincidentally good timing, because we weren't working during finals...). Then John and my b/f came over to visit Melo (stayed the night) and me after the game a little later that evening- with not very good tidings from my mom... I failed to mention that the two "friends" I invited over weren't girls... heh... whoopsie... accident...?

It was rather a fun evening. We were kept entertained with Melo's short attention span (and *eh-hem* "loving" of scarecrows...), and with John's accident prone-ness (if that's even a word) We stayed out in my front yard and were having a really good time... until John's father came pick the guys up- even though they could have stayed for another hour. That ticked John off so much that he planned to sneak out and come back to my house when John's dad went to sleep. Well, me and Melo couldn't go out to the front yard, but the back yard was opened to us. My original sneak in route for the guys-- yeah... covered in hedges... (and I don't remember those being their last year!)

We tried a whole bunch of different ideas... each of them not exactly fool-proof... So, with a heavy heart, we called and told them that we'll just have to wait until tomorrow to hang out... And with that said, they replied that they wouldn't sleep and that they'll head over by 8:45 the next morning.

We "knew" they were kidding...
