not much to say tonight. just been down since he left

I guess I am a little blue. My husband left a week ago. This whole week I have been on the brink of tears. With all this stuff with Katrina all over the news on top of my husband leaving not long ago, it has put me on an emotional rollercoaster. I am really trying to keep it all together, but sometimes it is easier said than done. But hey, if I can't handle what's going on around me there is always Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince. Yes I am an adult; J.K Rawlings is a great writer. My brother is in his 30s and reads them. So, no, I am not 17. Well, I am headed off to bed. I haven't heard from my husband for a few days, so keep him and all our troops in your prayers. Also, let us keep all the victims of Katrina in our prayers as well. Hey, everyone, go donate to the Red Cross or the Salvation Army. We all need to find a way to be charitable to those in need, especially when many of us have more than those people affected by the hurricane.

Hey, my husband is 24 and his sister is 26, and they waited in line at Borders to get their copies as soon as they went on sale. J.K. is definitely a great writer.

Keep on truckin'. I know it is hard having the hubby gone. I've had a terrible tension headache and sleepless nights for the two weeks mine has been gone and he will be home in another 3 weeks. (Deployment is not far off now.) It is really tough being apart.
Be strong.
