I am at my parents house in Richwood, WV. I went to church with them this morning and will be going back home this evening. I still haven't heard from my husband again. I just pray that he is allright. It is weird. I keep getting a certain response from alot of people about my husband. I don't know if it is a sign or message from God, but I pray that it is. They keep telling me that my husband is blessed or that he has a lucky star that follows him, and that he will come home alive and safe. I pray that they are right. I have talked to some other military wives that have had their soldiers deploy before. They say that the first month and a half is the hardest. Then you fall back into a routine and then it isn't as bad. I can't wait for my routine to start. I've got lots of people praying for me, and even more are praying for my husband. It still hurts though. But I will make it through.

I have lots of plans for the year that my husband is away. I am going to be singing with a choir in Hagerstown, I am going to try to find a place where I can teach voice lessons, I am going to be going to my husband's church and hopefully singing with their praise team, and I am going to be hanging out with the other wives in the family readiness group. The leader is really excited to meet me. I told her about this journal and she said that it inspired her to keep one also.

Please, to all who read this, pray for my husband, that he will come home safe and sound and the same for his troops. Pray that God gives me strength and peace to make it through this trying time.
