So I thought everything was worked out, but it's not. My husband called me about everything. He isn't so happy. They came down on him apparently. I do know why anyone would want to live a life ruled by the beauracratic society of the military. I know that no one in the US is really free, but the military and its soldiers are completely under different rules and regulations and all civil liberties are taken away. What a crock of crap. My dad was in the military. He was an E5. They wanted to give him an re-inlistment bonus, he told them to shove it. Now they are giving upwards of $150,000 bonuses for special forces re-inlistment. I really think the military is stupid. If they want soldiers to stay in the military, they need to do more than throw money at them. STOP THE WAR! That is the only way that they will be able to get guys to stay in. OR even get new recruits. What happens to new recruits? Oh they go through bootcamp then get sent straight to war training and shipped over on the next available plane. They never had a chance. Come on, who wants to sign on the dotted line knowing that within what, 6 months to a year, they will be going to play in the sand...with bullets whizzing by their heads, their new found friends dying, their lives changed forever by the greed and hate of war. My husband said that is the closest thing to hell over there. And he wanted to go at first. Now he doesn't want to be there. That should tell you something.
