Life sucks, whether you are a newlywed at home alone or a soldier fighting in Iraq. The crap doesn't stop on either end, and time keeps ticking.

Not doing so well. I have moved out of my inlaws house. Things weren't going so well there. I miss my husband more than ever. I wish I could talk to him and tell him about how I feel and what is going on. I know I won't hear from him today. He is on patrol. Gosh I miss him.

I am doing ok at my job. I really like the people here, and they are so understanding about what is going on with my husband.

I don't really think anyone knows how I feel. I only have one person that I can really vent to and unload all my feelings. He has been so understanding. I really appreciate him. He has become my good friend. And I do not have to worry about him hitting on me, since he is my husband's best friend, and we both trust him with our lives.

I feel like I have to hide so much information about my life from my husband for fear that he will lose concentration and not be able to keep his mind on the mission at hand, which is coming home alive to me so we can be the family that we are meant to be. I miss him so much. I miss my confidante. The man that holds me when I am down and tells me that everything will be ok. I have no one to hold me. I just have people to talk to. But NO ONE, not NO ONE, could ever be able to take the place of my loving husband. I just pray that God will lead, guide, and protect me and my husband on this year long journey. It will be a rough one, but with God all things are possible. Keep praying for my husband, and for me.
