Yesterday i had to go to the doctors office in order to get a lung infection to go away. I relised that i was so lucky to have health insurance. For my meds the vist to the office, would have been in the thousands. But because my dad's company gives him insurance it costs me, in complete, $5. And that was only for my meds. I can not imagining, that i idnt have this insurace, and my parents had to choose between getting m my meds and putting food on the table. I would never be able to make that decision. That is why i believe we need to have some type of universal health care. No person should have to worry about how they are going to pay for the doctor. Their is a woman at my mom's church that has a large tumour on her lip. She has had it for so long, but she can not pay her bills to get it taken care of. She has to wear a patch to try her best to get it from becoming infected. She might have cancer on her face, but she cannot pay for a doctor to make sure she has healthy happy golden years. That is why i believe in universal health care, so everyone can be healthy for their life.
