St. Catharines - St. St. St. Thomas - St. BATEMAN, Vincent Mark -In loving memory of Vincent Mark Bateman, 90 years, who passed away Wednesday, July 30th, 2008 at the SRH-St. Joseph's Health Centre. A well respected life resident of Killarney Vincent was a proud Canadian who served overseas with the Canadian Army during WWII. He married the love of his life Margaret (nee Black) in 1946 in Scotland and returning to his beloved Killarney. Always an industrious man he had been a miner, fisherman, Dept. of Highways Worker, boat builder and carpenter during his life. He was a former member of the Royal Canadian Legion Br#573 Killarney. A devout Roman Catholic he attended St. Bonaventure Church where he faithfully rang the church bell. He lived the lessons taught by Jesus as a good shepherd and good samaritan to all he met. He was an active volunteer for many worthy causes, an avid gardener and a dedicated family man. He will be sadly missed but lovingly remembered by ...
