DirecTV Ties with NBC Universal To Offer 2008 Beijing Olympic Games on DIRECTV VOD

DirecTV is also joining the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games broadcast as the satecaster has reached an agreement with NBC Universal. This agreement will allow DirecTV to launch a special video on demand (VOD) Olympics programming package to its subscribers who have the DIRECTV Plus HD DVR or R22 DVR receiver. NBC Universal will provide DirecTV with 10 VOD titles each week, which will include athlete features, Beijing previewsDIRECTV's Olympics programming package
