I've tried, and in many cases the downloads are so slow that the simple fact is, it takes the better part of twelve hours to get the movie you want downloaded, and if it doesn't work, or has errors, no one really pays much attention to your emails of complaint.
For my money, I will go and pay that single fee, and do the unlimited downloads.
